CHALLENGE African American businesses were disproportionately impacted during the global pandemic, and Unilever's SheaMoisture sought to support this core consumer base. CTA Use Social Relevance as a Competitive Edge. MESSAGE In today’s fast-paced world, relevance isn’t just an advantage—it’s essential.

OUR SOLUTION We led and managed the partnership between SheaMoisture and We Buy Black to launch the Black Business Relief Fund, aligning the brand with the “Support Black Businesses” movement. This initiative provided critical support to affected businesses while resonating deeply with diverse audiences, reinforcing SheaMoisture’s commitment to social impact and maintaining its relevance in a rapidly changing market.

CHALLENGE As Rap Snacks expanded into the UK, the challenge was maintaining global brand consistency while effectively engaging with local customers, primarily since the brand is known for its substantial presence in U.S. convenience stores. MESSAGE Involving specific communities in the campaign creation process ensures that your brand aligns with their social nuances and needs.

OUR SOLUTION We developed and led the partnership between Rap Snacks and Central State University, an HBCU, to develop Rap Snacks Symphony, featuring the university's band program and managing a local community activation. This initiative connected the brand to its target demographic by gathering input directly from the community. Incorporating the HBCU’s feedback into Rap Snacks offerings fostered a sense of co-ownership and partnership, ensuring the brand resonated with global and local audiences.

CHALLENGE The National Urban League sought to engage African American women during the Essence Music Festival, the most significant event in the world for Black women. They aimed to deliver personalized and authentic experiences at an event with over 500,000 attendees. CTA Engage your audience by creating a micro event within a major cultural event. MESSAGE Brands are increasingly sponsoring smaller, niche events that cater to specific communities or interests. This approach allows for more targeted marketing and often leads to higher engagement rates.

OUR SOLUTION We led the event sponsorship and partnership activation for the National Urban League and HCA Healthcare Women in Harmony Awards Luncheon during the Essence Music Festival. This focused influencer event provided a platform for brands to connect more personally with their audience. In addition to the luncheon, we created an intimate Self-Care Lounge where professional women could enjoy massages, makeup, and self-care resources. This space allowed brands to engage with attendees meaningfully and personally.
